Our financial professionals come from diverse backgrounds. We’ll provide resources to help you study for and pass your licensing exams. After that, our award-winning training program will teach and guide you through everything you need to learn. Check out our training section for more information.
Bankers Life agents are provided pre-licensing training free of charge; individuals will need to pay for the state exam required to sell life and health products in their state. Based on your production, you may be eligible for bonuses based on licensure costs. After you are appointed with Bankers Life, all company training is provided at the company expense.
This depends on your comfort level. You will begin your journey by studying for and passing your state licensing exam. This is completed at your own pace, but we recommend taking no more than 2-3 weeks for this step. After becoming licensed and appointed with Bankers Life, our award-winning custom training spans your first several weeks to months with the company. We teach you about our sales processes, our products and provide in-field training, but you aren’t stuck in an office the whole time – you will be working side by side in the field with experienced professionals. After your initial training, your development continues for the duration of your career with Bankers Life with training offerings geared to take your career where you want to take it.
This is a commission position. While training time is not paid, you do have the opportunity to begin earning commissions and bonuses as soon as you are appointed with us. To help you get started, the company matches your initial sales up to $5K and offers additional matching programs during your first year.
Your base compensation is 100% commission, so your earning potential is unlimited! There are many new agent bonus programs as well to support your strong start.
